Katie is a Middle Tennessee native who established her home in Clarksville in 2020. She and her husband, Matthew, are raising their four children — Lucy, Elliot, Penny, and Max — in a home filled with laughter and adventure.
A lifelong love of birth began early for Katie. Growing up with a mother who worked as a labor and delivery nurse, she developed a deep appreciation for the pregnancy and birthing journey. That early exposure nurtured a lasting passion for supporting families during one of the most meaningful seasons of their lives.
Katie joined Clarksville Midwifery as an office administrator and quickly became an integral part of the team. She was later given the opportunity to expand her role by also serving as a birth assistant, where she supports midwives and families with steady, compassionate care. Katie finds great joy in being a small part of a family’s pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journey.
Outside of work, Katie is a devoted sci-fi enthusiast — especially when it comes to Doctor Who. She and Matthew enjoy playing video games together, and she loves spending quiet time doing hand embroidery. Katie and her family also share their home with a handful of kitties — she’s never met a cat she didn’t try to “pspspsps.”
Her warmth, humor, and dedication make her a treasured member of the Clarksville Midwifery & Birth Center team.
